… i tink therefore i am …

We just completed the Entrelac - Market Square Bag class here at Wool and Company this past weekend. It is always so fun to see how the colors chosen for each bag look once the felting process takes place.

Two of the students, Barb and Mary Louise, brought their bags in for pictures and we are so happy they did. Look at how beautiful their bags turned out…

Mary Louise’s bag is the felted one on the left and Barb’s is not felted on the right. The difference in the sizes of the two bags is striking. Both ladies were careful when choosing their colors and rightly so.

They are gorgeous!

Here are a few more photos with some closeups for your examination…

This picture does not do the colors justice - apparently I need a little more practice/lessons with Neil’s camera. Mary Louise made and felted the handles for her bag, but when she learned Wool and Company carried leather handles, she had a dilemma.

My suggestion Mary Louise is to go with the red leather handles - they looked AWESOME with the red in your bag!

Barb will be adding a few things to her bag once it’s felted. Without giving it away (I think it might be gift for a very lucky someone), she plans on adding a lining, buttons and pockets to her entrelac bag.

What a gift!

Ladies, thank you very much for taking the class. I hope you love the look of entrelac as much as I do and that you continue to experiment with the colors that are available in so many shades!

Autumn, thank you for posting the pics of our bags! I have put some links up at Ravelry, so members can check it out! I LOVED class and look forward to taking more with you! It’s almost finished! I have felted the bag, and it came out beautifully! Now I am working on the external pockets and have to make the lining. It’s almost DONE! I’ll try to remember to bring it in so you guys (or maybe Neil) can take another pic of the finished product! The baby shower is this coming Saturday, so I have a zillion things to do!

    Thanks!
