Scarves for Girls with Eating Disorders
Hello, my name is Kristina, and last year I organized a philanthropy project that incorporated knitting, the philanthropy was called Project Heartstrings. I am hoping that with your help I can successfully continue again this year.
The goal of this project is to send hand knit scarves to girls aging 10-18 that will be spending their holiday in a Treatment Facility for Eating Disorders. These girls will be hundreds of miles away from home and their family and friends. I would love to send each of the girls in treatment during the holidays a handmade scarf to show each one of them how truly important they are!
I was a patient at this treatment center 2 years ago over the holidays, and mail-time is the best part of every day. If you would like to help make a warm, cozy scarf to send I would greatly appreciate it. The scarves can be dropped off at the Wool and Company store anytime from now until December 18th. Thank you for all your help!

Check back soon - we'll be adding knitting and crochet items to our Chicken Wire Auction for you to peck at. In the meantime,
