Sweater weather is here & we have our eye on pretty much every sweater designed by PetiteKnit. One of our faves at the moment is the Fortune Sweater knit in light, airy Isager Silk Mohair.
Worked seamlessly from the top down, the Fortune Sweater is worked in sophisticated stockinette with a lovely clover eyelet pattern. Flattering & comfortable, the piece is meant to be worn with 6”-10” of positive ease. The three-quarter length sleeves further add to the chicness.
The neck edge is worked in rib, then folded double and knit together. Short rows are worked to shape the neckline while raglan increases shape the yoke & sleeves.
The Fortune Sweater is the perfect opportunity to work with Isager Silk Mohair. Spun with soft, warm kid mohair & luminous silk, this lace weight yarn becomes more substantial when held double stranded. It is also more comfortable to knit with the ribbing being worked on a size US 2.5 & the body knit with a size US 6 needle.
