Winter is such a wonderful time for toasty knit accessories. The Winter Walkway Set by Becky Baker is a fun headband & cowl set that can be worn every day. Whether you are attending a sporting event, holiday market or just running to the store, these knits are always on standby.
The deep headband (perfect for covering ears) & close-fitting cowl are knit in soft The Fibre Co. &Make Aran yarn. Created by overdyeing naturally light & dark fibers, &Make Aran has a stunning palette of cheerful brights & nuanced neutrals. The 2-ply, Aran weight yarn has crisp stitch definition that makes cables, textured stitches & stripes really pop. The blend of Peruvian Highland wool & alpaca has a soft, yet nubby, textural hand with just the right amount of drape.
Both the headband & cowl are knit in the round featuring a simple 1 x 1 rib. It is a relaxing knit to take some time to slow down & just enjoy each stitch. This project is an amazing value as well....
Just 4 balls of &Make Aran is enough for the 3 headbands & 3 cowls in the photo colors. *You may need additonal yarn if you decide to knit the headbands & cowls in different color ratios, so please plan accordingly.
