Cuff Down Sock Workshop Series 2
- Posted on

Please join us on Sunday, February 13 from 11am-12pm for the second session of our complimentary, three-part Cuff Down Sock Workshop Series.
Our knowledgeable instructor will continue to break down sock knitting into easy to follow, digestible segments. In this session we will continue the sock knitting journey with a demonstration & explanation of the heel flap, as well as the overall shaping of this portion of the sock.
Sunday, February 13, 11am-12pm: Master the Heel Flap & Shaping
Sunday, February 27, 11am-12pm: Sock Finishing starring...The Kitchener Stitch
The workshop will include visuals, a demonstration & opportunities for questions. Feel free to come prepared to follow along or just relax & listen.
Recommended materials:
- 1 wound skeins/ball of fingering or worsted weight yarn based on your preference. Ideally, sock will be knit to this portion to help visualize.
- Size US 1, double point, 10” circular or 32”-40” circular needles for fingering weight.
- Size US 3, double point, 10” circular or 32”-40” circular needles for worsted weight.
**Choose needle format based on how you prefer to do small circumference knitting
Also, a reminder that we are having a sock KAL every Thursday through March 3. Everyone is welcome to join at any time, so no worries if you were not able to attend the first evening.
The KAL will feature two weights of socks- traditional fingering weight & cabin/boot worsted weight. The patterns are Rye & Rye Light by Tin Can Knits.
