June is turning out to be an exciting month for events at Wool & Co! There is something for every knitter from a casual after-hours shopping event to a yarn tasting & color theory workshop. Here are all of the details & sign-up links....
Blue Sky Fibers Fall Preview Private Shopping Event:
Tuesday, June 21, 6pm-9pm
During this fun, casual after-hours event you will get to see a sneak peak of Blue Sky Fibers Fall 2022 pattern collection & exciting new yarn.
Enjoy complimentary refreshments as you relax, shop & socialize at this open house style event.
There will be a new trunk show on display, giveaways & raffle prizes. The Blue Sky team will also be present to reveal the inspiration behind the collection & showcase the new yarn.
All attendees will receive 10% off purchases & have the opportunity to preorder the new Blue Sky Fibers yarn. Receive a pre-release copy of “The Elgin Pullover,” a new pattern by designer Michael Vloedman with yarn purchase.
The event costs $20 to sign-up. You will receive a $20 Wool & Co. gift card when you arrive.
Saturday, June 25, 10am-12pm
Spend the morning knitting at a yarn tasting! Hosted by Shannon Dunbabin of Cascade Yarns, you will receive a sample pack of different yarns to play with & swatch. As you swatch, Shannon will discuss the characteristics of each of the yarns. There will be a trunk show to see each of the yarns knit up, as well as raffle prizes.
All attendees will receive 10% off purchases that day.
Required Materials: Please bring a variety of needles (or hooks if you crochet) & a pen or pencil
Cascade Introduction to Color Theory Workshop:
Saturday, June 25, 2pm-4pm
Hone your color skills at this fun, approachable workshop hosted by Shannon Dunbabin of Cascade Yarns. In this complimentary workshop you will receive a color wheel, as well as samples of 220 Superwash. The workshop will begin with Shannon covering the basics of color theory & how to use a color wheel. You will then have an opportunity to play with different color combinations using a simple slip stitch pattern.
All attendees will receive 10% off purchases that day.
Required Materials: Please bring size US 7 needles & a pen or pencil
