Mix up your knitting with a fresh little project. Join us this Thursday (March 10th) from 6-8pm to relax & knit Fairmont Felted Bowls by Nancy Ekvall.
The bowls are knit with one Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Bundle of 21 mini skeins. Each bundle is enough for two little bowls or one large bowl. You will also need size US 13 double point needles.
There are 7 different color theme bundles to choose from, so have fun creating a collection or mixing & matching. No worries if you have never wet felted before- it is very simple. The pattern has you knit the bowls much larger than you normally would, then when you are finished, the bowls are purposely put through the washing machine with heat, moisture & friction that then causes them to shrink & felt! It is also a great technique for cat toys & slippers.
