Winters Beach Cardi by Andrea Mowry
Hedgehog Fibres Tweedy
Hedgehog Fibres Tweedy & Tweedy Noir are back in stock! This special yarn was created by Hedgehog Fibres to be more environmentally friendly & minimize waste. Tweedy is a soft, DK weight yarn with cool, rainbow nubs of color. The bits are recycled ties & yarn waste that have been re-carded, blended & spun into this unique yarn.
The blend of Falkland Merino wool, recycled wool & thread waste comes in two colors; a warm grey & a charcoal black. Both have colorful nubs of recycled yarn goodness.
We are also excited to for an opportunity to help recycle & reuse, so we have been collecting all of our yarn waste ties from winding yarn to send to Hedgehog for a second life.
The Winters Beach Cardi by Andrea Mowry is a simply gorgeous, cabled cardigan that truly showcases this special yarn. Comfy & cozy, the cardigan is knit from the bottom up to the shoulders where the sleeves are then picked up & knit. The pockets are placed while knitting the body of the sweater & then finished at the end.
