Kitchener and Three Needle Bind-Off Workshop

Leading Men Show Stopper, Fright Night
Basic Sock by Churchmouse with Kitchener Stitch Toe

Please join us on Sunday, November 7 from 11am-12pm for a complimentary workshop to learn the Kitchener Stitch, as well as the Three Needle Bind-off.

The Kitchener Stitch is found in many patterns including sock & tube infinity cowls. It is a wonderful method of grafting live stitches together that is nearly invisible. The Three Needle Bind-off is a simple way to seam & bind-off stitches that are still on needles at the same time. It can be used for garment shoulders & simple ponchos.

At this interesting & informative session you will learn how to do both of these techniques. In addition, the workshop will cover the benefits of each technique & when to use it.

The workshop will include visuals, a demonstration & opportunities for questions. Feel free to come prepared to follow along or just relax & listen.

Recommended materials:

  • A set of live stitches distributed between 2 needles (ie- 2 circulars, magic loop circular or 2 double point needles)
  • A spare needle in same size as live stitch needles (ie-spare double point)
  • Tapestry needle

We look forward to seeing you there!
