Please join us for a fun & festive event as we kick off the Fall 2021 knitting season. On Saturday, September 11 we are having our Rowan Fall Collection Showcase.
The celebration will begin at 12pm with Rowan Brand Manager, David MacLeod kicking off the event & introducing the fall pattern collection, as well as Rowan’s newest yarns. We will then have a live fashion show where we will model some of our favorite designs from the fall collection!
Event guests will receive a Rowan AW21 lookbook, Mode AW21 lookbook & a complimentary Serena sweater pattern by Quail Studio from the new Mode Five Collection.
In addition, with any in-store Rowan purchase, receive a complimentary Liverpool Street Hat Kit by Georgia Farrell. The kit includes the pattern, two balls of Rowan Alpaca Soft DK & a Rowan organza bag.
If that is not enough...we are also having a raffle for the chance to win one of 4 grand prize project kits that include all of the yarn & pattern book for the knit.
As the newest Rowan Flagship Store, we are excited to unveil our new brand section that includes the complete collection of Rowan yarns & publications. This year also marks the 70th issue of Rowan’s Magazine & it is truly a spectacular collection. We look forward to seeing you at the event!

David MacLeod
David MacLeod grew up just outside Edinburgh on a working country estate where his father worked. This is when his love and knowledge of fiber began—growing up working on the estate, being involved in animal husbandry and shearing the sheep. Though knitting has always been in his life.
His mother, grandmother, great grandmother and generations before all knitted—not as a hobby, but to make school jumpers or warm woolens to wear while working on the croft farm in the cold north of Scotland. His brother and brother in law are still farming today.
When David joined Rowan in 2008 it meant that he “completed the circle.” Having studied graphic design and with a background in publishing, it was a natural step to become Brand Manager.
David says, “Days pass quickly at Rowan, but it’s the variety within the role that makes the role fun. It is a challenge to please everyone and keep the brand moving forward, but I would not have it any other way. It’s not a job, it’s a lifestyle…”
