We love knitting & all of the wonderful designers who continue to excite & inspire us with their stunning designs. One of the talented designers we are spotlighting this week is Sarah Hatton.
Growing up in Hertfordshire, England, Sarah has been knitting since she was 5 years old. She has always been drawn to textiles & design. Her first job was as a knit designer for a handknit company & she has been designing ever since. Her designs are modern & wearable, yet embody the classic heritage of knitting. She enjoys playing with shaping & texture to create garments that are both fun to knit & wear.
In her rich career, she has designed knitting patterns for Rowan, The Fibre Company, Vogue Knitting, & Simply Knitting to name a few. One of her more recent collections is the West Yorkshire Spinners Family Collection which is available as a pattern book or individually through Ravelry.
This stunning collection showcases English wools from the WYS Fleece & various breed specific lines, such as Jacobs & Bluefaced Leicester. The collection of garments & accessories for the family will have you packing your bags for a country holiday.
