Feature Pattern of the Week - A Nice Ribbed Sock

Socks are fun, portable & satisfying! Give foot joy to yourself or a loved one by knitting a pair of socks. Comfortable, cozy & unique, you may never buy another pair. Our feature pattern this week is A Nice Ribbed Sock by Glenna C. Simple & a delight to knit, the ribbed sock pattern is a great addition to every knitters’ pattern library.

The pattern is very apropos as we introduce the newest yarn to the Wool & Co. collection of fine yarns. Lang Jawoll Twin is a true gradient yarn. Each 50g ball of fingering weight wool & nylon blend is perfectly dyed to create a matching pair of socks! Great for two at time sock knitters! Please note, you will need 2 balls for one pair of socks.

To knit the A Nice Ribbed Sock Pattern, you will need 2 balls (100g) of Jawoll Twin (or fingering weight sock yarn), size US 1 or 1.5 set of double point needles (or preferred method for small circumference knitting), & a tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Wool & Co. also has a large selection of other sock yarns. Leading Men Show Stopper, Hedgehog Fibres Sock, Brew City Premium Draft, Molly Girl Bass Line, Madelinetosh Twist Light, Berroco Sox, & Plymouth Happy Feet are some of our favorites.

Happy Knitting!
