Feature Pattern of the Week - Abraxas Vertex I

Abraxas Vertex I by Asa Tricosa
Pascuali Balayage, colors Iquitos & Ishinca

Abraxas Vertex by Asa Tricosa is a gorgeous shawl knit in a beautiful monarch orange with silvery grey trim. The shawl has just the right amount of drape & is substantial enough to wrap around shoulders.

Pascuali Balayage makes this shawl even more special. The amazingly soft & luxurious blend of baby alpaca & organic extrafine Merino wool gives the piece a warm, soft glow.

The pattern has you knit from tip to wide border to create an asymmetric triangle. An unexpected cable pattern is what gives the shawl such a lovely texture. The contrasting border is a simple mistake rib knit along the body to create a generous border. The pattern is written out, as well as charted.

The pattern is available to purchase in store or on Ravelry.

The shawl requires 5 balls of Pascuali Balayage for the main color (sample in Iquitos) & 2 balls for the border contrast color (sample in Ishinca). You will also need a size US 4, 32” or 40” circular needle, as well as a cable needle.

Shop the collection online or if you are in the area, experience our new destination store in South Elgin, IL.

Happy Knitting!
