Amano Apu & Amano Eco Puna Black

Be transported to the Andes Mountains with every stitch of the new pattern collection by Martha Wissing featuring Amano Apu & Eco Puna Black. These very special yarns from Peru are pure luxury.

Apu is spun from 100% Imperial alpaca that is sorted & dehaired by hand. At 17 microns (Cashmere is typically 14), Apu is unbelievably soft & feels wonderful next to skin. The pure white is completely natural & undyed.

Undyed Eco Puna Black is equally as special. Pure black alpaca fiber accounts for only .03% of all alpaca fiber. This heavenly soft yarn supports the Yanapaco Program which seeks to provide incentives to Andean communities for the care & recovery of this special alpaca population.

Treat yourself this knitting season to one of these spectacular yarns & patterns.

Visit the store to experience the garment trunk show in person or shop the collection online.

Happy Knitting!
