Introducing the sweet new baby pattern collection from Rowan designed by Erika Knight. Bloom features fresh, modern garments & accessories for the little one in your life...and even has a few beautiful pieces for Mum!
The patterns showcase Rowan’s newest yarn, Cotton Wool, a soft, cloud-like blend of brushed cotton & wool. There are also patterns for Baby Cashsoft Merino (Merino wool, acrylic, cashmere) & Summerlite DK (cotton). All three of the yarns are perfect for baby & feel wonderful against delicate skin.
For the Bloom Collection, Erika designed 20 patterns, as well as a gorgeous new color palette across the yarns. Three of our favorites that we cannot wait to get on the needles are the Buddy Pullover, Poppet Pullover & Hush Booties.
Buddy has sizes for 0-12 months & requires 2-3 balls of Rowan Baby Cashsoft Merino (photo sample in Piglet), as well as size US 4, 16” circular & double point needles.
Poppet is a sweet garter pullover with cute button details that calls for 2-3 balls of Rowan Cotton Wool (photos samples in Tiny & Pickles), as well as size US 6, straight needles or 16”-24” circular needles (knit flat & seamed).
Hush is a pair of adorable booties knit in Rowan Baby Cashsoft Merino (photo sample in Cecily). The pattern requires just 1 ball for all 4 sizes, as well as a set of size US 4 double point needles.
