The Boho Style Mosaic Cardigan by Irene Lin is one of those stunning knit pieces that will become a timeless classic in your wardrobe. Knit in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, the cardigan is a heritage piece that will wear beautifully. Shelter is a woolen-spun, worsted weight yarn spun & dyed in the United States from 100% Targhee-Columbia wool sourced from ranches in Wyoming. The yarn is light, yet warm & blooms beautifully after blocking.
Even though it is a large project, the cardigan is very approachable to knit as it is knit seamlessly top-down. The shawl collar is then knit by picking up stitches around the cardigan. We love that the gorgeous mosaic color patterning is just slipped stitches! Each row is only knit with one color at a time, but the strategically placed slipped stitches create the color pattern as you change colors on other rows.
The loop fringe is added at the end & Irene has a demo video link on the Ravelry pattern, so it is easy to watch & learn.

- Size US 7, 40”-60” circular (use finished body circumference to determine)
