Brooklyn Tweed Grey Coast Collection
Clockwise from top left: Grinnell by The Petite Knitter, Coroman by Irina Anikeeva, Kas by Stefanie Sichler, Ecola by Jennifer Brou

The just launched Brooklyn Tweed Grey Coast pattern collection is fresh & fabulous, featuring pullovers, a cardigan & accessories. These knits will transition perfectly into spring, so the collection is indeed timely.

Grinnell by The Petite Knitter showcases Brooklyn Tweed Loft in a colorwork yoke sweater that features an attractive diamond pattern. The pullover is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. The pattern requires 7-13 total skeins of Loft in a main color + two contrast colors. The photo sample is in colors Cast Iron (MC), Sweatshirt (C1), and Fossil (C2). You will need size US 4, 16”, 24”, 32” circular & double point needles.

Coroman by Irina Anikeeva is a show stopping, cabled cardigan that is knit in Brooklyn Tweed’s newest yarn Tones. The color in the sample photo is Baseline Undertone. The cardigan requires 10-23 skeins of Tones, size US 7, 32” circular & double point needles, size US 6, 32”, 40” circular & double point needles, & a cable needle close to the size of the gauge needles.

Kas by Stefanie Sichler is a fun to knit & wear cabled hat that can be worn throughout the year. The hat is knit in the round with 2 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Tones & requires size US 5 & 7, 16” circular needles & US 7 double point needles, as well as a cable needle. The sample photo is knit in color Baseline Overtone.

Ecola by Jennifer Brou is the perfect year round sweater knit in Brooklyn Tweed Peerie. The fine, fingering weight gauge is rich with a texture reminiscent of windswept snow on sand that makes for a truly unique knit. The body of this pullover is worked flat in pieces from side-to-side. The shoulders and side seams are sewn together and then the sleeves are picked up and worked circularly down to the cuff. The sweater photo sample is in color Thaw. You will need 9-15 skeins of Peerie, size US 3, 32” circular & double point needles, & US 2 double point needles.

Brooklyn Tweed Tones is back in stock, as well as many of your favorite Brooklyn Tweed bases & colorways. See more details about the collection, shop bases, colorways & much more on our website or lifestyle store in South Elgin, IL.
