Keep the chill away with Cinders, a new hat pattern design by Sarah Chapman featuring soft Manos del Uruguay Franca. Simple enough for those new to colorwork, the hat has a cool swirl pattern achieved by choosing two high contrast colors of Franca. We love how the subtle speckles in the cream color compliment the tones in the coppery, burnt orange color.
The hat can be knit in a couple of hours, so it is perfect for a fun, satisfying project or as a thoughtful gift. Top with a homemade yarn pom or take it luxe with one of our faux fur poms.
To knit the Cinders hat you will need 1 skein each of two contrasting colors of Manos del Uruguay Franca & size US 11, 16” circular & double point needles. There is also a L/XL size version, which is knit on a size US 13 needle.
