Coiled Magenta by Carol Feller is a beautiful & uniquely patterned pullover that can be worn almost all year. Knit in Stolen Stitches Nua Sport, the piece has a fine gauge with nice stitch definition to show off the design work.
Nua Sport was designed by Carol Feller in collaboration with Fyberspates. This amazing tweed is a soft, yet rustic blend of Merino wool, yak & linen, hand-dyed in colorways inspired by Carol’s home in West Cork, Ireland.
Carol describes this sweater as magical because the end product looks complex and difficult to work but is actually an intuitive, fun sweater to knit! The sweater is best knit with 6”-10” of positive ease to achieve a beautiful drape. It is knit in the round from the bottom up, and all the stripes are worked as reverse stockinette helical stripes, which create a seamless join. The different color panels along the bottom are created using short rows stacked on top of each other. Ingenious!
