The cool winds of autumn have come alive & the days have become a bit shorter. We are welcoming the season with a new array of covetable knitting kits. Fun & convenient, each kit includes all of the yarn you will need to knit the project, as well as a printed copy of the pattern. All that is left to do is pick up your favorite set of needles, relax & start knitting.
We love all of the kits, but one of the standouts of the collection include the Blue Sky Fibers 14 Color Woolstok Light Shawl by Mary Pranica. An engaging, yet achievable knit, the shawl has rows of slip-stitch dots & stripes with rows of eyelets. The gorgeous hues of Woolstok Light play beautifully with the deep green border.
Another favorite is the Rowan Mona Wrap Kit by Quail Studio. Mona is a generous & versatile knit piece that goes with everything. It is knit in Rowan Kid Classic, a perfect yarn for cozy, three season knits. The yarn is a soft & warm, yet surprisingly light blend of lambswool & kid mohair. The Mona features a classic chevron pattern in four complimentary neutrals.
Of course, we also just had to have a knit plaid. The Clarkston Cowl by Michael Vloedman is knit in silky soft Blue Sky Fibers Skyland. Not to worry...this simple to knit piece only looks intricate. With the perfect amount of drape, the cowl looks great worn indoors or paired with a coat to keep warm outside.
