The wait is over...we are thrilled to introduce new Hedgehog Fibres Super Bulky!
We love the warmth, beauty & knitting gratification of super bulkies, so this new yarn is pretty much perfect. Weighing in at 150g & 89 yards, single-ply Hedgehog Super Bulky is spun from 100% Merino wool & feels wonderful on the needles. Soft & silky, the yarn absolutely pops in Hedgehog Fibre’s signature palette of brights, jewel tones & pastels. Each skein is hand dyed in Cork, Ireland.
This new super bulky knits up gorgeously on size US 13-17 needles & is the ideal gauge for so many of your favorite super bulky patterns. To give it a try, we knit up a sample of the Perky Little Hat by Sharon Lentsch in color Merman. Knit in the round with a thick, textured brim, the hat is soft, smooshy & feels amazing to wear. The bright, happy Hedgehog colorways bring cheer to any day.
To knit the Perky Little Hat you will need 1 skein of Hedgehog Fibres Super Bulky & size US 15, 16” circular & double point needles. Simply top with one of our faux fur poms or make one with leftover yarn from the hat.

Our other featured hat is Pixelated by Alexandra Alfonso. We revealed this hat a week or so ago, but left the yarn a mystery! To knit this lovely hat you will need 1 skein of Hedgehog Fibres Super Bulky, size US 13 & US 15, 16” circular needles, size US 15 double point needles & a faux fur pom.
