Lang Linello
We love a good gradient! Introducing Linello, the newest summer yarn from Lang. Linello is a blend of crisp linen & soft cotton with a touch of viscose. This thick & thin yarn has lots of character with even simple stockinette stitch having a beautiful textural component. The thick & thin nuance of this yarn produces a breathable fabric that is gorgeous for knit wraps, short sleeve tops & beachy pullovers with just the right amount of drape.
Linello is versatile in that is may be knit on a smaller needle (US 2.5) to create a solid fabric or on a larger needle (US 6) to create a more open, lacey fabric.
The first featured pullover is pattern PTO-27_07 (Lang gives their patterns numbers instead of names). This resort-style pullover is perfect for vacations & relaxed weekends. The sweater is seamed & has a gorgeous eyelet pattern.
The next piece (PTO-27_10) is an easy, breezy, drop-shoulder top with flattering elbow-length sleeves. Knit in one of the more colorful Linello colorways, the simple stockinette stitch really allows the yarn to shine.
The collection would not be complete without a scarf/ wrap. PTO-27_02 is an airy wrap featuring a lacey eyelet pattern. The pattern gives the piece just enough detail while still showcasing the gorgeous color gradient aspect of the yarn.
