Feature Pattern of the Week - Quench

Quench Scarf by Lisa Richardson
Rowan Cashmere Haze, Polar Night, Sunrise, Moonbow

Dreamy & feather-light, the Quench Scarf by Lisa Richardson is a treat to knit. Simply sumptuous against skin, the scarf is knit with Rowan’s newest yarn, Cashmere Haze. Cashmere Haze is an exquisite blend of baby alpaca, cashmere, & silk that is light enough to wear indoors or out. The yarn is also a wonderful option for those with a sensitivity to mohair.

The pattern is knit flat on a size US 8, 24” circular or straight needle & requires 6 balls total of Rowan Cashmere Haze: 3 balls Polar Night, 2 balls Sunrise, 1 ball Moonbow. The pattern is just stockinette stitch, but has a cool marled look because the scarf is knit holding 2 strands of different colored Cashmere Haze together.

The Quench Scarf pattern is available in Rowan’s newest pattern book; Focus- Natural Fibers. The book also includes 14 additional stunning patterns that feature Cashmere Haze. Focus- Natural Fibers is available individually or as a compliment book sold with Rowan Magazine 66.

Check out this pattern book, as well as many others on our online store or visit our St. Charles, IL store to see & try the Quench Scarf.

Happy Knitting!
