Feature Pattern of the Week - Summery Knit Wraps

Say hello to summer with a light wrap. Each of our three featured wraps is knit with one of The Fibre Co.’s unique blends to achieve the perfect drape, breathability & stitch definition.
Glykos by Dawn Henderson is knit with 5 skeins of Luma, a lightweight blend of Merino wool, organic cotton, linen & silk. You will need a size US 6, 32” circular needle, as well as a cable needle to knit the simple, rhythmic honeycomb cable design.
Irish Sea by Susanna Winter is a timeless triangle shawl with simple garter & delicate lace traveling down the edge of the shawl. The knit fabric is soft with lovely drape, yet has a rustic appearance. The shawl is knit in Meadow, an unexpected blend of wool, baby llama, silk & linen. The shawl has two sizes that require just 1 or 2 skeins of Meadow & a size US 4, 32” circular needle.
Last, but not least, South Head by Sabine Frisch is a reversible wrap with stunning eyelets & soothing garter stitch knit in meltingly soft Canopy Fingering; a blend of baby alpaca, Merino wool & bamboo. The wrap requires 6 skeins of Canopy Fingering & size US 2.5 & 3, 32” circular needles.
