Feature Pattern of the Week - The Perry Hooded Cowl

Perry takes the cowl to the next level for warmth & versatility. The cowl has a clever construction that creates a hood built into the piece!
Knit in Berroco Vintage Chunky, the cowl features two dramatic cables interspersed with handsome ribbing. Surprisingly simple, the cowl is knit flat with a 6 row repeat & then seamed at the end. The seam runs down the side a bit to create the unique hood feature.
To knit the cowl you will need 4 skeins of Berroco Vintage Chunky or 500 yards of your favorite bulky weight yarn. You will also need a size US 10 straight or 16”-24” circular needle, as well as a cable needle that is similar (does not need to be exact) to the needle size. The finished cowl measures 9” wide x 62” circumference.
