Feature Pattern of the Week - The Weekender Light

Weekender Light by Andrea Mowry
Brooklyn Tweed Loft, color Faded Quilt

It is finally here! A lighter weight version of the fabulous Weekender pullover by Andrea Mowry. Weekender Light features even more sizes (10 in total) & is knit with fingering weight yarn.

This sweater is worked from the bottom up, seamlessly. The body is worked in the round until the divide for the sleeves, then the remainder is worked flat and the shoulders are finished with an exposed seam; created using the 3 needle bind off.

The combination of texture, faux seams, drop shoulder, and some positive ease creates a versatile, flattering sweater that looks great on all body types & is fun to knit.

We love the pullover in American raised, spun & dyed, 100% Targhee-Columbia wool Brooklyn Tweed Loft but it would also be lovely in The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering, Quince & Co. Finch, Rauma Finullgarn, Brooklyn Tweed Peerie or Berroco Ultra Wool Fine.
