Wool & Co. Feature Pattern of the Week - Celtic Mitts

This week, we have been inspired by fingerless mitts! The feature pattern this week is Celtic Mitts by Michele Rose Orne.

Cables are everywhere this Fall and the simple cable design on these mitts is just perfect. The pattern has two different sizes & can be knit using worsted weight yarn. So, in other words, the sky is the limit!

The mitts are lovely in a solid such as Galway Worsted or Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, but would also look cool using the subtle, self-striping Amitola Grande or tonal Madelinetosh Tosh Merino.

Pattern is available on Ravelry and requires 210 yards worsted weight yarn, US 6 & 7 double point needles, cable needle, waste yarn to use as a stitch holder.  Mitts could also be knit using 9” circular needle (you would still need US 7 double point needle for thumb).
