The artful gradient blending of three colors is easily accomplished working garter stitch with a double strand of yarn.

Finished measurements:
Hat circumference – 19½ (21½)” (50 (55) cm)
Length Cast-on to Crown – 8” (20.3 cm)

Materials:
3x Amano Ayni (50g), shown in 5009 Sunflower Seed (MC), #5010 Quartz Gray (CC1) and #5011 Cooper (CC2)
16” circular knitting needle, size 2 (2.75 mm)
16” circular knitting needle, size 3 (3.25 mm) 
Set DPN’s size 3 (3.25 mm)
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
23.5 sts = 4” (10.2 cm); 48 rows = 4” (10.2 cm) in Garter stitch in the round with larger needle
