Learn to make this fabulous, cozy shawl in our fun, social knitting environment! Fading Point is constructed from both ends towards the center, and then both pieces are connected with triangles to achieve a seamless rectangle.
Class Project: Fading Point Shawl
Learn: Seamless shawl construction, garter tab, lace pattern, garter chevron, lace chevron, choosing colors to achieve fades or high contrast
Base Knitting Level: Intermediate/ Advanced
Skill Prerequisite: Unaided long tail cast-on, knit, purl, increases, SSK, K2tog, KFB, K3tog

Additional Materials Required: 5 skeins of fingering weight yarn in different colors: NOTE*** Any color combination will work, however this design works especially well if you use a progression of colors (gradient or fade). The photo sample is designed using the darkest color of the set, so that is called color 1. However, you can try your own version starting with the lightest, or using completely different contrasting colors! Two sets of size US 5, 24” or 32” circular needles, blocking pins & wires, ring stitch markers, waste yarn, darning needle.
**Feel free to bring any materials you already have. Instructor will talk through materials at beginning of first class & give you needle/ supply recommendations. We recommend waiting to purchase materials until first class. There will be time to shop.
