Class Project: Ghostwood Mittens

Learn: Mitten construction, afterthought thumb, Kitchener stitch, knitting with two strands held together, cables, reading a chart

Base Knitting Level: Advanced Beginner/ Intermediate

Skill Prerequisite: Unaided long tail cast-on, knit, purl, K2tog, SSK, must have experience knitting in the round with double point needles

Materials Included w/ Class: Pattern

Additional Materials Required: 109-146 yards worsted weight yarn (based on size women’s small-men’s small), 114-150 yards lace weight mohair yarn, size US 3 & 4 double point needles, waste yarn or stitch holder, 2 different ring stitch markers, cable needle, darning needle.

**Feel free to bring any materials you already have.  Instructor will talk through materials at beginning of first class & give you needle/ supply recommendations. We recommend waiting to purchase materials until first class.  There will be time to shop.
