note on grafting
The first repeat of the colorwork in this pattern begins with Round 2 in order to maintain the colorwork design after the two ends of the tube are grafted together.

If you are unsure of your grafting skills, or just want an easier graft, begin the first pattern repeat with Round 1 instead of Round 2. You will have an extra row of plain knitting after grafting, but it will look fine.
