Craft: Knitting
This pattern is available on Ravelry.
These socks were originally inspired by an Art Nouveau themed magazine call back in Summer 2021. After playing with various stitch swatches, what I got instead was a stitch pattern that reminded me more of the Impossible Geometry that is so prevalent in the works of M.C. Escher.
The Blocks Stitch Pattern is made with a combination of slipped stitches and one-over-four cables, this means that the leg and the top of the sock have far less stretch than the stocking stitch sole of the sock.
This pattern has written instructions, and the stitch pattern is both written and charted. This pattern also has a large print/screen reader accessible version that only has the written instructions.
