We are thrilled to introduce a new & exciting yarn that just arrived for the Autumn/ Winter season!
Known for their luscious. hand-dyed yarns & planting a tree for the sale of each skein of yarn, Urth Yarns has created two new yarns to delight fiber artists...Spiral Grain Light Worsted & Spiral Grain Sport.
Inspired by the spiral grain growth patterns found naturally in trees, Spiral Grain is a stunning, 3-ply yarn spun with 100% Superwash Extrafine Merino wool. An absolute pleasure to knit & crochet with, the yarn is spun to create gradual color changes & a pleasing marled look. Each of the three colorful plies work beautifully with the other, creating amazing depth of color.
Enjoy knitting sweaters, cardigans, shawls or accessories such as hats, mitts or cowls. The yarn is also lovely paired with a solid or tonal for interesting stripes & color blocks. A tight twist delivers crisp stitch definition. Be inspired by the palette of nature-inspired colorways.
