Get ready to knit your new Fall cardigan! It is time for our next Knit-Along & the inspiration pattern for September is the Morgan Cardigan by Elizabeth Smith. Join us on Thursdays, 8/31-9/21 for fun, relaxed evenings of knitting & conversation.
Morgan is a drop-shoulder cardigan featuring a fashion forward hi/lo split hem, textured slip stitch pattern, and pops of contrasting color in the hem and sleeves.
The pattern includes instructions for a worsted or DK weight version & the choice of long sleeves or vest sleeves! Elizabeth knit her Morgans in Berroco Ultra Alpaca & Ultra Alpaca Light. This is a great garment yarn because it is 50% superfine alpaca & 50% Peruvian wool. The blend keeps the yarn soft with a gentle halo, while maintaining garment shaping...truly the best of both worlds.
