Craft: Knitting
This pattern is available on Ravelry.
Ily is knitted in drapey Tern (wool/silk). And Ily’s stripes start narrow and space themselves out as the shawl gets wider; the border is worked in a slip-stitch pattern before the picot bind off.
Yarn
3 skeins each: dusk 415 / wampum 410
Needles
48” circular in size US 6 / 4 mm
Sizes Available
87" [220 cm] wingspan and 22" [55 cm] deep at widest point
Notes
The shawl is worked sideways, from the narrow tip. Increases are made along the side edge every RS row, to be used later for the border. WS row increases gradually widen the body of the shawl.
