Take a trip into the woods this fall with this happy hat knit pattern. The bottom rib is knit shorter and longer along the hat edge, creating a beautiful engineered rib border. We offer 2 versions of this hat - version A is knit in stockinette for the hat body and version B is knit in a pretty pointelle stitch in the hat body.

Skill Level: Beginner - Intermediate Knitter

Materials: 1 skein Spun Cloud yarn ~ 100 yards per skein ~ colors Love Cloud and Fog Heather shown here

Needle Size: Size US 15 (or 10mm) 16 inch circular needle and one set of size 15 double pointed needles or long circular needles for magic loop

Size: One size fits average female head (22” in circumference)

Gauge: 1 3/4 - 2 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch
