This is a full-time salaried position starting at $45k. Benefits include healthcare and 40% store discount.

Job Description for Retail Assistant Store Manager

• Assist in managing team of retail cast members to ensure delivery of company financial & customer experience goals
• Ownership of creating & maintaining employee schedule
• Assist Store Manager in partnering with CMO to develop & execute store events & workshops
• Assist Store Manager in partnering with CMO to develop & execute Knit-Alongs
• Develop retail staff through continuous training, education, motivation & team building
• Manage restock team to ensure that store is restocked every day to company visual merchandising specifications
• Manage retail staff to deliver day-to-day elevated customer experience
• Ensure Wool & Co customer experience is being executed through every customer touch-point from greeting & interaction to knitting help & check-out
• Maintain Wool & Co. standard of cleanliness & organization in store
• Ensure Wool & Co. visual merchandising standards are being maintained
• Partner with Store Manager in creating & presenting daily staff huddles
• Support & execute Wool & Co. store events (workshops, charity knits, classes, guest speakers, etc)
• Joint responsibility with Store Manager for team moral

• Ability to prioritize, execute & bring projects to completion

• Strong knitting skills/fiber knowledge
