The hat is knit in Sandnes Garn Tykk Line, an aran weight blend of cotton, viscose & linen. Sari designed the hat to be knit on smaller needles to create a tight gauge that gives the hat some shape & structure. To give the brim even more shape, weave in a piece of thin wire at the end!
The size of the hat and length of the brim are easily adjustable with options provided for modifying the fit. Knitting starts at the top of the hat & finishes with the brim.
