Knitting for Olive Merino + Pure Silk, color Pea Shoots in both
Pick up a fun palette cleansing project with this fantastic skirt by My Favourite Things! Skirt No. 2 features a repeating eyelet design that gives the knit a lighter feel. It is great for outdoor parties, poolside or paired with tights on chillier days.
The skirt is worked top-down, in the round & uses simple techniques that are approachable for beginners. Delivering drape, structure & breathability; the piece is knit holding a strand of Knitting for Olive Merino (fingering weight) together with a strand of Knitting for Olive Pure Silk (fingering weight). The two strands together are comfortably knit using a size US 4 & US 7 needle for a satisfying project.
Tip: It is simple to add more length, however you will need additional yarn.

*Designer Notes: Skirt No. 2 has a relaxed fit, but the waist should be snug. The skirt is designed to sit just below the navel. Choose the size with a waist measurement closest to your own waist (or the spot on your stomach where you want the waistband to sit).
If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller one, as the textured stitch pattern is very stretchy.
