The Clay Tee by Ozetta is knit in Knitting for Olive Pure Silk. Spun with 100% bourette silk, this fingering weight yarn is perfect for tops, tanks, cardigans, wraps & scarves. Bourette is crafted from waste created during silk processing. It has a pleasing matte, relaxed finish for sophisticated, yet casual knits.
All of the silk in this yarn is made from already open cocoons where the silkworms have transformed into moths & fluttered away.
The pattern features rows of garter stitch “stripes” against a smooth stockinette background, giving the top an appealing texture. A rolled neckline & elbow-length sleeves create a luxe casual vibe.
Two strands of the fingering weight yarn held together create a nice, substantial fabric with perfect drape. Choose either a short or long sleeve version.
