Finland-based Laine Publishing is renowned for creating covetable knitting pattern books & magazines that are a staple in fiber artist’s libraries. Laine has begun a new chapter partnering with the Novita mill & creating beautiful yarns.
Proudly in operation since 1928, Novita is a family-owned mill located in Kouvola, Finland. With a focus on sustainability & resource management, the company works diligently to source wool as locally as possible. The mill is also actively reducing waste through moving to renewable or recyclable materials. Novita is passionate about creating premium yarns for hand knitting. To maintain these high standards, the mill owns the entire process from raw wool to ready-to-knit skein.
