Austrina is a lace yoke sweater with a relaxed funnel neck. Knitted seamlessly from the top down, the neck and yoke are cleverly shaped using needle size changes, wrapped stitches, hidden pattern increases and circular yoke shaping. This romantic pullover is soft as a cloud. 

YARN:

The Fibre Co. Cirro (40% Suri alpaca, 40% organic cotton, 20% Merino wool, 225 m (246 yd) per 50g hank) in shade – Noble 5 [5: 5: 6: 7: 8: 8: 9: 10] hanks. Our yardage given includes enough to knit an 8” x 8” tension swatch.  

NEEDLES:

3.5mm (US 4) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)

3.5mm (US 4) 40 cm (16 in) circular needles (or size to obtain gauge)

3.75mm (US 5) 60-120 cm (24-48 in) circular needles for working yoke and body (or size to obtain gauge)

3.75mm (US 5) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)

TENSION/GAUGE:

23 sts and 32 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st after blocking using 3.75mm (US 5) needles.

31 sts and 32 rnds to 10cm (4 in) measured over wrapped rib after blocking using 3.5mm (US 4) needles.
