Knit holding two ends of Arranmore Light together, the Ceim Sweater is a gratifyingly quick knit. Featuring marled stripes on a classic raglan sweater, it is exceptionally wearable and tremendously cosy, making it an excellent addition to your handmade wardrobe.

The given sizes are called Sizes 1-9 and are recommended to fit a chest circumference of: 76-81 (86-91: 97-102: 107-112: 117- 122: 127-132: 137-142: 147-152: 157-162) cm (30-32 (34-36: 38-40: 42-44: 46-48: 50-52: 54-56: 58-60: 62-64) in)

Recommended Ease

Designed with 5-15 cm (2-6 in) of positive ease at chest circumference.

Photographs show the garment knit in Size 3 on a model with a chest circumference of 86 cm (34 in).

Yarn

The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light (80% Merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% silk, 300 m (328 yd) per 100 g hank) in

  • Ailis (A) - 1 (1: 1: 1: 1: 1: 1: 1: 1) hank,
  • Glasney (B) - 1 (2: 2: 2: 2: 2: 2: 2: 2) hanks,
  • Evlin (C) - 2 (2: 2: 2: 2: 2: 3: 3: 3) hanks,
  • Sheelin (D) - 2 (2: 2: 2: 2: 2: 3: 3: 3) hanks,
  • Meara (E) - 1 (1: 1: 2: 2: 2: 2: 2: 2) hanks.

If you prefer to work the sweater using two strands of a single colour worked together throughout, you will need 4 (5: 5: 6: 6: 7: 8: 8: 9) hanks of yarn.

If you want to work the sweater using two different colours held together, but the same colours throughout, then you will need 2 (3: 3: 3: 3: 4: 4: 4: 5) hanks of each colour.
