Milk Thistle is a textured kite-shaped shawl with a unique flower design by Béatrice Mase.

This shawl project will stretch your knitting skills and create a beautiful and unique piece of wearable art!

The shawl has been designed so that each shade of Cumbria Fingering has a different stitch pattern; garter and stockinette stitch in Scafell Pike, herringbone stitch in Fair Hill and a stunning flower stitch in Blackbeck.

England’s stunning north-western landscape with its deep blue lakes and sheep-grazed fells inspired this fingering-weight yarn made from fine Merino for softness, wool from the English Masham sheep for a beautiful heathered colour and Argentinian mohair for strength and lustre.
