Part-time positions start at $15/ hour & all Cast Members receive a 40% discount.
Retail Store Cast Member- Part-time
Job Description
- Welcome & greet customers
- Provide suggestions & help customers choose yarn, patterns, colors
- Help to problem solve & aid customers in fixing knitting mistakes
- Proactively offer accurate advice on techniques, patterns & yarns based on personal expertise
- Teach technique workshops, 101 learn to knit classes & moderate knit-alongs
- Assist with store events
- Maintain store organization & cleanliness
- Wind yarn into cakes using ball winder & swift
- Check customers out using computer based, retail POS system
- Embody Wool & Co. core values & support the brand essence
Skill Set Requirements
- Strong knitting skills mandatory, as well as fiber, needles & notions expertise
- Expert knowledge of knitting gauge, patterns & techniques
- Friendly & approachable manner with strong verbal communication skills (especially listening to customers)
- Knowledge of premium yarn brands, needles & notions
- Ability to decipher & fix knitting mistakes
- High level of comfort using & navigating in Ravelry with strong knowledge of patterns, as well as designers
- Strong computer skills

Retail Store Stocker- Part-time
Job Description
- Restock retail store using a computer-based scanning system to determine restock & then pull inventory from warehouse
- Neatly stock & reface store displays in accordance with store visual merchandising guidelines
- Manage yarn dye lots & organize product via “first in, first out (FIFO)” stock management
- Support store cast members by retrieving specific stock/dye lots to fulfill customer requests
- Assist with store events
- May include flex role of helping to restocking warehouse, count inventory & sticker products on occasion

Job Description
- Respond to customer emails & phone calls regarding package tracking, technical knitting questions, yarn/needle recommendations, project color & design assistance
- Provide an elevated level of customer service
- Offer solutions that adhere to company guidelines as well as deliver strong customer satisfaction
- Process returns & exchanges
- Create special orders
- Communicate product availability, mixed dye lots, estimated ship dates & discontinued or missing products
- Maintain business organization & cleanliness

Job Description
- A multifaceted, flex role that involves completing various tasks in the ecommerce process during each shift
- Pull orders with a high level of accuracy from the warehouse
- Wind yarn into cakes using ball winder & swift
- Neatly wrap & package orders
- Ship orders using computer-based shipping software with a high level of accuracy
- Restocking warehouse, count inventory & sticker products
- Unbox, receive & organize incoming shipments
- Maintain warehouse organization & cleanliness
