Tejido Cowl by Sarah Solomon
Manos del Uruguay Fino & Alegria, colors Brass Button & Butia
Create a woven look cowl with simple slipped stitches! The Tejido Cowl by Sarah Solomon has a cool Swedish Weave Stitch where the contrast color is never worked...it is simply passed back & forth between the needles as the knitting is done with the main color! The result is the contrast color strand being “woven” around the main color background.
The cowl is very soft & lovely knit in a combination of Manos del Uruguay Fino (extra fine Merino wool, silk) & Alegria (superwash Merino wool, nylon). It combines a calming tonal colorway with a more lively variegated to create the visual interest.
Here is what you will need for this fun little weekend project.
