The snow is swirling & it is the perfect time of year to knit! We are excited to announce a fun, full schedule of classes, workshops & two very special guests that will be visiting in March. Hint: They have visited before & live in Norway....
Classes range from knitting a first sweater & pair of socks to more technique based project classes such as a stranded colorwork cowl & a mohair magic hat. All of the classes & workshops are complimentary.
January 2025 Schedule
Saturday, 1/11, 3pm-4:30pm: Fixing Knitting Mistakes Workshop
Learn to fix common mistakes, as well as handy techniques such as lifelines, manipulating knit & purls & identifying the right side vs. wrong side of knitting projects.
Thursdays, 1/16-2/27, 6pm-8pm: My First Sweater Class
Learn to knit a raglan sleeve sweater in this 7 week class. The class will include an intro. to sweater construction, the best fibers for sweaters, gauge swatches, choosing a size & key skill instruction.
Saturday, 1/18, 3pm-4:30pm: Fixing Knitting Mistakes Workshop

Saturday, 1/25, 11am-1pm: Cascade Yarns Choose Your Stitch Adventure Poncho with Shannon Dunbabin (sign-up required)
Open to both knitters & crocheters, Shannon Dunbabin of Cascade Yarns will take you on a knitting & crochet journey where you will choose your own stitch pattern for a toasty poncho.
Saturday, 1/25, 2pm-4pm: Cascade Yarn Tasting with Shannon Dunbabin (sign-up required)
Bring your collection of knitting needles or crochet hooks for a fun afternoon of swatching with an extensive array of fibers & weights. Hosted by Shannon Dunbabin, the tasting will feature some of your favorite yarns, as well as some that you have not had a chance to enjoy. Open to both knitters & crocheters.
