Shannon Dunbabin, the talented designer & owner behind favorite brand Cascade Yarns will be teaching Introduction to Mosaic Knitting & Introduction to Cables on Saturday, September 27.
Introduction to Mosaic Knitting, 9/27/25, 11am-1pm
Mosaic knitting is a technique where gorgeous color patterns are created using slipped stitches! The technique looks intricate, but is actually quite fun & simple! During the workshop you will have the opportunity to swatch, learn & feel confident with mosaic knitting.
Materials:
- Cascade 220 Superwash Merino (complimentary & supplied in class)
- Size US 7 straight or circular needles to swatch
Introduction to Cables, 9/27/25, 3pm-5pm
Cables look amazing & have adorned knits for hundreds of years! Learn how to do this magical technique in this fun & approachable class. We promise it only looks more complicated than it is! During the workshop you will have the opportunity to swatch, learn & feel confident with cables.
Materials:
- Cascade Woolpaka (complimentary & supplied in class)
- Size US 8 straight or circular needles to swatch
- Similar gauge cable needle
- Complimentary Cirque Glacier Wrap pattern
