Perfect proportions & an intricate texture elevate the Star Jasmine Mini Scarf to the ultimate outfit maker. The scarf pattern includes two sizes, small & large, & is knit in a fingering weight yarn or two lace weight yarns held together.
The small size (shown in lead photo) uses just 100 yards of yarn & the large size uses 180 yards. The smaller size is nice for summer & transitional weather, as well as indoor wear. The large size delivers a little more coverage & warmth for chillier weather.
The scarf is worked tip to tip with built-in I-cord edging. The body of the scarf is mostly composed of 2x1 rib, with dip stitches worked in every few rows. Lovely!
Ksenia knit the feature mini scarf sample in Ito Kinu held together with Ito Sensai. Kinu is a luxe lace weight yarn spun in Japan with 100% bourette silk. Sensai brings a gorgeous halo & softness with a blend of mohair & silk. The small scarf uses just 100 yards of each yarn, so you can knit two scarves with just one ball of each.
Both scarves are incredibly versatile & may also be worn as a headband or ponytail “ribbon” tie.
