The Beauty of Icelandic Wool

Góa by Védís Jónsdóttir
Lopi Fjallalopi, colors 3001 Light Moorit, 3041 Mustard, 3042 Ginger, 3060 Marron, 3031 Moss

While some look forward to the crisp linens & soft cottons of summer, others dream of cold weather & a heritage wool on the needles.

Góa by Védís Jónsdóttir is a modern colorwork yoke sweater with a heritage feel. The sweater is knit from the bottom-up, in the round. It is knit in a wearable sport weight & showcases Lopi Fjallalopi yarn.

Heritage wool lovers...this yarn is for you!

Fjallalopi is spun from 100% Icelandic wool with outstanding breathability & thermal insulation. For over 1,000 years, sheep in Iceland have been roaming the sub-arctic climate. Their adaption to the climate has given the wool a distinctive character. Rustic & durable, Fjallalopi is a single-ply yarn perfectly suited for stranded colorwork patterns. It is easy to work with & softens over time with wear & wash.
